When we say its not all about the money, we mean it.

The truth is this company was founded with a lot of social and corporate responsibility at its core.  We support charities, organizations and green initiatives all over the world, not just because it looks good on our resume, but because its the right thing to do.

Here are some of our favorite charities and organizations that NLP contributes to from a corporate level.

Joshua Valentine (CEO)- World Vision

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, their families and communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and Injustice.  World Vision provides hope and assistance to approximately 100 million people in over 100 countries.  In communities around the world we join with local people to find lasting ways to improve the lives of poor children and families.

 

Mat Robar (COO)-  Trees For Life

Trees for Life‘s mission is “To create hope through a movement in which people join hands to break the cycle of poverty and hunger and care for our earth through education and empowerment.”  What started out as a small organization that plants fruit and Moringa trees to combat malnutrition and provide for communities has grown into an international aid organization empowering the impoverished throughout the world to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Going Green-

In addition to our corporate responsibility outlined above, we have also taken steps as a company to not only minimize our environmental impact, but also offset and reverse our footprint.

By purchasing Corporate Co2 Emissions Offset Credits, we not only offset our corporate footprint, but also aid in projects such as reforestation and clean energy projects.  Our last company credits went towards the reforestation of Brazil’s disappearing rainforest and towards wind energy projects across North America.

But we didn’t stop there, we chose to up our commitment and actually purchase 250x more in emissions credits than we were using to actually go on the offensive and meet the green issues facing our planet head on!
